Thousands of hours of introspection, soul-searching, piano plunking and harp strumming later, Amy is gearing up to rule the airwaves, video displays and foster tidal waves of data waves, as the band's self-titled third studio album is being readied for an October 11 release via Wind-up Records.

Evanescence - What You Want
"What You Want" marks the first newly available music from Evanescence since "Together Again," a song inspired by The Chronicles of Narnia that was written during The Open Door sessions. The song was not included on the album but was released in early 2010 as a charity single to help with the efforts in Haiti.
Recorded in Nashville with producer Nick Raskulinecz, Lee says that selecting "What You Want" as the album's debut single was "a really natural choice. It's kind of about coming back in some ways: it's about the fans, it's about this Evanescence renaissance that we're having, and I think it makes sense."
